ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-00-02 ~ of the City Manager of the City of Eugene CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT AND NAMING OF THE TREE PRESERVATION AND STREET TREE PROGRAM FEE SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-96-24-F ~ The ity Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: A. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020, 6.330 and 7.280 of the Eugene Code, 1971, on Feb 28, 1997, Administrative Order No. 58-96-24-F was issued establishing the Tree Preservation and Street Tree Program Fee Schedule as set forth in Exhibit A thereto. B. Since adoption of those fees, changes have occurred with respect to some of the City's adm' strative practices, and the schedule should be renamed, some of the fees revised, and other fees ra feed and affirmed. C. I find that the revisions to the fees as set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with applicable p licies and directives of the City Council, including policies developed through the Eugene Deci ions process, are based on the City's estimate of the costs associated with providing the services, dare necessary in order to recover those costs from the beneficiaries of the services. On th basis of these findings, I order that: 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted at two locations at ity Hall, be made available for interested persons at the Public Works Department, 1820 Roosev It Blvd., Eugene, Oregon 97402, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thro gh Friday, exclusive of holidays), and published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general cir ulation within the City. 2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth in the Notice. I will thereafter establish the fees by an administrative order. Date this 7th day of February, 2000.
