Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> <br /> ~ For the Sast Side of Olive Street's 1800 Block <br /> <br /> i ' The raffic 8n ineer of the Cit of Bu ene finds that: <br /> <br /> i~ g Y g <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulation provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones woul be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br /> a <br /> B. On March, 2rd, 2000, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~ of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit par ing zone for the east side of Olive Street's 1800 block. <br /> j C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed z ne. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the p licies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Base upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> i <br /> Administra ive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zo e: <br /> The east side of Olive Street between W 18b1i and W 19b1i Avenues. <br /> <br /> ' j 2. The zone shall be designated Zone "F" and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking be weep 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays a d except Zone "F" permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated herein may apply for a Zone "F" permit entitling the holder thereof <br /> to prefere tial long-term parking at Zone "F" signed parking areas within the <br /> designated zone. <br /> 4.
