<br /> ~.r+ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-00-27 <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> CON ERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF THE FEE <br /> _ SCHE ULE TO PROCESS EROSION PREVENTION- AND <br /> CONS RUCTION SITE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES PERMITS. <br /> The C ty Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to determine <br /> ~ and set fees a d charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of municipal property, <br /> and licenses a d permits. <br /> B. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on January 22, 1997, <br /> Administrativ Order No. 58-96-27-F was issued establishing a schedule of fees for processing <br /> erosion preve tion and construction site management practices permits. <br /> C. The currently effective fee schedule for processing erosion prevention and <br /> construction ite management practices permits should be amended to add a surcharge fee for <br /> performing w rk without a permit as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A <br /> hereto and inc rporated by reference. <br /> D. The fee set forth in Exhibit A hereto is consistent with applicable policies and <br /> directives oft e City Council, comparable to the fees established in other jurisdictions, and is based <br /> on the cost to he City associated with providing the services to beneficiaries of the service. <br /> On th basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted at two <br /> locations at ity Hall, provided to any persons who have requested such notice, and be made <br /> available for i spection by interested persons at the offices of the City's Public Works Department, <br /> Engineering ivision, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal business hours (9:00 <br /> a.m. to 5:00 p m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays), and made available to the general <br /> public throug Eugene's Home Page on the Internet. <br /> 2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth <br /> in the Notice.
