0 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER - ~j a-0 <br /> of the <br /> <br /> ~„i Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For th South Side of ~P 8°h Avenue Between Lawrence and Lincoln Streets <br /> The raffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> i <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulation provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones woul be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On November 28, 2000, the City received a staff request to extend the <br /> existing Z ne E to include the entire south side of W 8th Avenue between Lawrence <br /> and Lincol Streets to reflect the change by the excluded eastern properties from <br /> commercial to residential. <br /> ~ C. The ro osed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformit <br /> r P P Y <br /> with the p licies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOgP, THEREFORE, <br /> Base upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administra ive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> r <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zo e: <br /> The entire south side of W 8th Avenue's 300 block. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking be ween 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays a d except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> 4 <br /> f preferenti 1 long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designated zone. <br /> 4.
