<br /> i <br /> I <br /> 4 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER S ~j ' O ~ " <br /> of the <br /> k Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For he West Side of Orchard Street Between S 17t° and 8 19~' Avenues <br /> The raffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> i <br /> <br /> f <br /> i <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulation provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> <br /> I zones woul be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> i <br /> { <br /> f <br /> B. On November 17, 2000, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~ of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit par ing zone for the west side of Orchard Street's 1700 and 1800 blocks. <br /> r C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed z ne. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the p licies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Base upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administra ive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> i <br /> i 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> t parking zo e: <br /> <br /> i <br /> The west side of Orchard Street between E 17th and E 19t'' Avenues <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone "A" and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> <br /> Y <br /> parking be ween 900 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> I holidays a except Zone A permitted vehicles. <br /> f <br /> ' 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> ~ designated herein may apply for a Zone "A" permit entitling the holder thereof <br /> to prefere tial long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the <br /> r designated one. <br /> I <br /> 4.
