D <br /> o <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER `Sg ~ O ~ - Olo <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Sngiaeer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For a Sast Side of Orchard Street Between S 17~'' and 8 19~ Avenues <br /> The raffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulation provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> j zones woul be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> I <br /> B. On November 17, 2000, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~ of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit par ing zone for the east side of Orchard Street's 1700 and 1800 blocks. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed z ne. <br /> <br /> i <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the p licies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Base upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administra ive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zo e: <br /> ~ The east side of Orchard Street between E 17th and E 19th Avenues <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone "A" and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> j parking be ween 900 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays an except Zone A permitted vehicles. <br /> i <br /> <br /> r 3. Persons residin in or ownin residential <br /> g g property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone "A" permit entitling the holder thereof <br /> ~ to refers tial lon term <br /> I P g- parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the <br /> j designated one. <br /> E <br /> I <br /> 4.
