Administrative Order #58-01-14 <br /> dministrative Order of the Public Works Executive Manager <br /> Contract/Change Order Delegation of Authority <br /> and repeal of Administrative Order #58-96-11 <br /> Under Admi 'strative Order of the City Manager, the Public Works Executive Manager has the <br /> delegated au ority to execute contracts on behalf of the City Manager of Eugene in the amount <br /> of $100,000. 0 or less. This authority includes the execution of contract change orders which are <br /> within budge contingency for that contract or project, and are within change order guidelines of <br /> Public Contr ct Administrative Rules. <br /> Based on the above, the Public Works Executive Manager orders that: <br /> 1. Publi Works Division Managers shall be responsible to the Public Works Executive <br /> Mana er for: the initiation, content, award, obtaining of signatures, budgetary <br /> enc brance, consistency with local budget law, filing with the City Recorder, <br /> admi istration, and compliance with applicable federal, state and local statutes and <br /> polici s for contracts which carry out the programs of their divisions. <br /> 2. All P blic Works contracts shall be submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager <br /> for ex cution. Contracts for amounts over $100,000.00 shall be initialed by the Public <br /> Work Executive Manager and signed by the City Manager. <br /> 3. Any c ntract submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager for execution shall have <br /> the ini ials of the Division Manager who recommends execution of the contract. <br /> 4. The C ty Engineer and Airport Manager shall have the authority to execute change orders <br /> for co struction contracts which are within budget contingency for that contract or <br /> projec ,and are within change order guidelines of the Public Contract Administrative <br /> Rules. Any change order shall be consistent with applicable provisions of the original <br /> contra t.
