ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-01-16 <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF <br /> PLAT CHECKING FEES. <br /> The ity Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Sections 2.020 and the provisions of Chapter 9 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorize <br /> the City M ager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, <br /> goods, use o municipal property, and licenses and permits. <br /> B. Following the procedures set forth therein, Administrative Order No. 58-98-12-F was <br /> issued on J 29, 1998, amending the plat-checking fee schedule. The City's new Land Use Code <br /> becomes effe tive on August 1, 2001. The plat-checking fees should be amended in order to comply <br /> with the new ode provisions. Therefore, I intend to amend the plat-checking fees by increasing the <br /> fees for parti 'ons, subdivisions, office reviews and field checks, effective August 1, 2001, and the <br /> unamended f es should be reaffirmed and Administrative Order No. 58-98-12-F should be repealed. <br /> C. I find that the proposed revisions'to the plat checking fees set forth in Exhibit A <br /> attached her to are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, are <br /> <br /> y~~, comparable o the fees established in other jurisdictions for providing such services, are in <br /> ~irr compliance 'th the provisions of Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and are necessary in order <br /> to comply 'th the Council's goal of recovering the cost of providing the services from the <br /> beneficiaries of those services. <br /> On t e basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. Copies of the Notice, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be provided to the Mayor and City <br /> Councilors, ublished in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, <br /> posted at tw locations at City Hall, and be made available for inspection by interested persons at <br /> the offices o the City Planning and Development Department, Planning Division, 99 West lOt'' <br /> Avenue, Eu ene, Oregon 97401 during regul~r'business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br /> through Frid y, exclusive of holidays). <br /> 2.
