<br /> ``i <br /> i <br /> I ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-OZ-06-F <br /> of the <br /> Airport Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> ADOPTION OF A TOWING AND STORAGE FEE FOR VEHICLES LEFT <br /> j UNATTENDED AT THE AIRPORT TERMINAL CURB. <br /> I <br /> The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> i <br /> A. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager or designee <br /> ~ to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> n7unicipal property, and licenses and permits. Pursuant to Airport Rule 8.4.2, the City Manager <br /> has delegated authority to set such fees and charges incurred at the Airport to the Airport <br /> ~ 1Vlanager. <br /> B. Following the procedures set forth therein, on February 28, 2002, I issued <br /> Administrative Order No. 58-02-06 and notified the Mayor and City Councilors that I intended to <br /> adopt towing and impoundment fees in order to recover the City's costs of hourly wages and <br /> benefits for City staff performing immediate tows of vehicles left unattended at the airport <br /> ~ i terminal curb as required by FAA mandates. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> C. Copies of the Notice were also provided to persons who had requested notice, <br /> posted at two locations at City Hall and at two locations at the Airport on February 28, 2002, and <br /> i <br /> made available for inspection at the offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 Lockheed Drive, <br /> Eugene, Oregon, 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through <br /> Friday, exclusive of holidays). The Notice provided that written comments would be received <br /> fpr a period of 15 days from the date of posting. No comments were received within the time or <br /> f j in the manner required in the Notice. <br /> D.
