0° <br /> ~ o <br /> . _ <br /> Administrative Order #58-02-20 <br /> Administrative Order of the Public Works Executive Manager <br /> <br /> 1 Contract/Change Order Delegation of Authority <br /> and repeal of Administrative Order #58-01-14 <br /> <br /> j <br /> Under Administrative Order of the City manager, the Public Works Executive Manager has the <br /> ' delegated authority to execute contracts on behalf of the City Manager of Eugene in the amount <br /> of $100,000.00 or less. This authority includes the execution of contract change orders which aze <br /> i 'within <br /> bud et contin enc for that contrac <br /> t or ro'ect and <br /> g g Y p ~ aze within change order guidelines of <br /> ~,II <br /> P <br /> ublic C <br /> ontract Administrative Rules. <br /> Id I Based on the above, the Public Works Executive Manager orders that: <br /> 1. Public Works Division Managers shall be responsible to the Public Works Executive <br /> 'I Manager for: the initiation, content, awazd, obtaining of signatures, budgetary <br /> encumbrance, consistency with local bud t law filin with the Ci Rec <br /> g'~ g ty order, <br /> administration, and compliance with applicable federal, state and local statutes and <br /> hl policies for contracts which carry out the programs of their divisions. <br /> 'i 2. All Public Works contracts shall be submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager <br /> for execution. Contracts for amounts over $100,000.00 shall be initialed by the Public <br /> Works Executive Manager and signed by the City Manager. <br /> 3. Any contract submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager for execution shall have <br /> ~ the initials of the Division Manager who recommends execution of the contract.. <br /> Ili ?l. The City Engineer and Airport Manager shall have the authority to execute change orders <br /> for construction contracts which are within budget contingency for that contract or <br /> 'pl ro ect and aze within chan a order <br /> 9 P .1 g guidelines of the Public Contract Administrative <br /> Rules. Any change order shall be consistent with applicable provisions of the original <br /> contract.
