SCHIELE AS THE CITY'S ACTING <br /> IN CAPACITY CITY SURVEYOR. <br /> The City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 1976, the <br /> City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, and is specifically authorized to <br /> appoint and remove all employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter), and to enforce all <br /> ordinances of the City. <br /> B. On Apri19, 1990 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4173 that designated the <br /> City Surveyor to serve in lieu of the County Surveyor in the performance of the County Surveyor <br /> duties set forth in Chapter 92 of the Oregon Revised Statutes. <br /> C. The City's position of City Surveyor is currently vacant due to the retirement of Joe <br /> i Ferguson, and Terry J. Schiele should be appointed as the City's Acting in Capacity (AIC) City <br /> Surveyor. <br /> ~ NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> I <br /> The City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene orders and directs that: <br /> 1. Based on the above findings, which are hereby adopted, Terry J. Schiele is hereby <br /> appointed as the City's Acting in Capacity City Surveyor. <br /> I <br /> 2. The City Recorder is requested to forward copies of this Order to Terry J.
