K <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF <br /> , WETLANDS MITIGATION BANK FEE <br /> '1~0: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.020 of the <br /> Eugene, Code,1971, the City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene intends to amend the wetlands <br /> 1 ~ mitigation bank fee as follows: <br /> ~I <br /> 'I Wetlands Mitigation Bank Fee <br /> Current Fee Proposed Fee <br /> i <br /> Mitigation Fee $30,000/acre $50,000/acre <br /> I <br /> The fee as proposed above has been recommended by staff, is consistent with applicable <br /> policies and directives ofthe City Council to recover the cost of services from the direct beneficiaries <br /> bf those services; has been computed in a manner consistent with the requirements of the City's <br /> agreement with the Oregon Division of State Lands and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and is <br /> necessary in order to defray the costs associated with the wetland mitigation program. <br /> Persons desiring to comment on the amendment shall submit written comments to the City <br /> Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 days from the date of posting and <br /> publication as indicated below.
