Modifications to the accepted geological and geotechnical report(s) made during <br /> cwnstruction must be reviewed and accepted by the City prior to implementation. <br /> <br /> i~ <br /> R-9.6710-D Exemptions. <br /> <br /> i ~ As provided in EC 9.6710(3), the following activities aze exempt from the requirements of <br /> j EC 9.6710 and the provisions of this rule: <br /> 1. Maintenance, operation, reconstruction of existing streets, driveways, and utility lines, <br /> provided soil disturbance is limited to a standazd utility trench vv~dth or the area beneath street and <br /> driveway structures. <br /> 2. Emergency actions which must be undertaken immediately or for which there is <br /> insufficient tune for full compliance when it is necessary to prevent or abate any of.the following: <br /> 2.1 An imminent threat to public health or safety; <br /> 2.2 An imminent danger to public or private property; or . <br /> <br /> I <br /> ~ 2.3 An imminent threat of serious environmental degradation. . <br /> <br /> ~ <br /> <br /> j f 3. Street and alley dedications that widen existing publicright-of--way aze exempt from <br /> <br /> ~ ~ the requirements of EC 9.6710(2xb) and R-9.6710-C.1.2. <br /> <br /> C I 4. A residential building permit for a lot or pazcel that was subject to previous reports <br /> alnd assessments. <br /> I <br /> 5. New construction, building alterations and building additions that will not result in <br /> ' soil disturbance. <br /> <br /> ~ 6. Activities on land included on the City's acknowledged Goa15 inventory. <br /> f 7. Development activities that are part of an application proposing needed housing. <br /> I~-9.6710-E Invesh_gation and Report Content. <br /> r As provided in EC 9.6710(4), there aze three levels of detail that establish the requirements <br /> fir investigation methods, and report content for a geological and geotechnicalanalysis (R-9.6710-F- <br /> C7-H). Site investigations for each level lazgely differ in the type and complexity of the methods <br /> ~ used. R-9.6710-F, R-9.6710-G, and R=9.6710-H provide the acceptable methods to be used for <br /> <br /> ~ i i#westigating and reporting the geological and geotechnical site investigation for Levels, 1, 2, and <br /> ~ respectively.
