'~k ?i <br /> NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF <br /> UTILITY RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMITS FEES <br /> <br /> i'I <br /> To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and 7.300 <br /> ' of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene intends to amend the <br /> <br /> ~ fees for Utility Right-of--Way Use Permits, to add a new section entitled "Major Aerial Installation <br /> Permit Fee," as follows: <br /> <br /> i <br /> <br /> i <br /> UTILITY RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMIT FEES <br /> (Effective upon signature of final Administrative Order) <br /> Current Fee Proposed Fee <br /> III Major Aerial Installation Permit Fee: None See below . <br /> If the activity to be permitted on an individual permit involves a primarily aerial installation <br /> only and exceeds 26,400 feet (5.0 miles), the permit fee shall be computed in two steps, as follows: <br /> ' Step One. The initial 26,400 feet (5.0 miles) shall be permitted under the existing site <br /> specific permit fee contained in Section II. <br /> Step Two. All additional footage over 26,400 feet (5.0 miles) shall be computed at the rate <br /> of $ 0.10 cents per foot. This rate shall be applicable for the calendar years of 2002 and 2003. <br /> Primarily aerial installations only that are less than 26,400 feet and not specifically authorized under <br /> a blanket permit remain subject to the site specific permit fees of Section II of this schedule. <br /> For purposes of this section, "primarily aerial installation" is the installation of wire or cable <br /> ;type facilities on existing poles or approved above-ground structures. The installation or <br /> <br /> j 'replacement of pole anchors may be approved as part of an aerial installation pemut as long as the <br /> installation is completed within a radius of 10 feet from the existing pole or structure.
