<br /> ~ ~ . <br /> <br /> i <br /> <br /> I <br /> 2.27 Rules -these rules. <br /> ~ 2.28 Self-service fueling - a commercial fueling operation that provides aviation fuel at <br /> ~ afixed-location fueling station equipped with aself-service pump. <br /> 2.29 Terminal building or Airport terminal -the terminal building as it now exists or <br /> as hereafter expanded or improved, including the sidewalks, road and parking areas near the terminal <br /> building. <br /> <br /> ~ 3. AUTHORITY. <br /> 3.1 Airport Manager. The Airport Manager is responsible for the operation of the <br /> Airport. Subject to direction by the City Manager, the Airport Manager is empowered to: <br /> 3.1.1 Oversee all municipal and aeronautical operations at the Airport; <br /> <br /> ~ 3.1.2 Take any action at the Airport necessary to protect and safeguard the public, <br /> or necessary to protect public and private property; <br /> 3.1.3 Regulate traffic and parking at the Airport, and install and remove traffic <br /> control devices; <br /> 3.1.4 Cause the removal from the Airport of any person who violates any of these <br /> rules or an Airport Manager directive, when that removal is necessary to insure the safe or <br /> <br /> ~ orderly operation of the Airport; <br /> 3.1.5 Deny any future use of the Airport, except for air travel, to any person who <br /> <br /> ~ violates any of these rules or an Airport Manager directive; <br /> 3.1.6 Initiate a NOTAM closing of the Airport or any part thereof through the FAA <br /> when unsafe conditions exist; <br /> <br /> ~ 3.1.7 Issue, execute and administer all permits, licenses, and leases for the <br /> conducting of any activity at the Airport; <br /> 3.1.8 Limit the number of permits, licenses or leases for a particular activity at the <br /> Airport when such limitation is consistent with federal law; <br /> 3.1.9 Administer and enforce these rules by issuing verbal and/or written directives <br /> <br /> ` ("Airport Manager Directive") and through any other authorized means; <br /> 3.1.10 Set all fees and charges imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> municipal property, licenses, permits and applications for the foregoing arising from <br /> <br /> ~ operation of the Airport; and <br /> 3.1.11 Perform any other duty that maybe assigned by the City Manager. <br /> 3.2 Airport Committee.
