NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> FEE SCHEDULE FOR PRIVATELY CONSTRUCTED PUBLIC <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and <br /> 7.130 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend the <br /> fees for engineering services for privately constructed public improvement projects. Of the fees <br /> being amended, the following proposed fees are $250 or greater. (The full schedule of proposed <br /> amendments is posted at City Hall, and is available for inspection at the City Manager's office.) <br /> Public Works Engineering Services Fee Schedule <br /> Description Current Fee Proposed Fee <br /> As-Constructs & 11 Month Warranty Inspection Fees: <br /> (Fees are based upon the bonded value of the public <br /> improvements.) <br /> Small Development (less than $25,000) $289.00 $306.00 <br /> Medium Development ($25,000 to $100,000) $499.00 $529.00 <br /> Large Development (greater $100,000) $788.00 $835.00 <br /> In determining the proposed fees, I have considered the applicable policies, enactments <br /> and directives of the City Council, the amount charged for these services by the City in the past, <br /> the full costs of providing these services supported by the fees, the amounts charged by other <br /> comparable providers, and the revenue needs of the City as determined by the adopted City <br /> budget. In addition, the fee amendments are necessary in order to comply with the requirements <br /> of Section 7.130 of the Eugene Code, 1971, that the fees charged cover the costs, including <br /> overhead, of engineering, inspection and review services performed by the city on all private or <br /> public improvements not engineered by the city. <br /> Persons desiring to comment on the fee amendments shall submit written comments to <br /> the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 days from the date of <br /> publication as indicated below. After the expiration of the comment period, the City Manager <br /> will consider the comments received and establish by administrative order the fees as proposed <br /> or as modified in response to comments. <br /> Dennis M.
