7. Amend Rule 1.030 by adding new Subsections (5) and (6) and renumbering <br /> current Subsections (5), (6), and (7) to (7), (8), and (9), to provide: <br /> 1.030 VEHICLES. <br /> (5) Motor vehicles not parked in a "parking facility", as that term is defined <br /> by EC 5.010, are subject to being cited for violation of these Rules and towed at the owner's <br /> expense. <br /> (6) No person may park under the canopy of a tree, unless parking in a paved <br /> parking area. <br /> (7) No person may operate a vehicle within a park o r open space area at a <br /> speed exceeding 20 miles per hour unless the roadway is posted with a greater speed limit. <br /> (8) No commercial vehicles, or vehicles with the combined weight greater <br /> than that of a passenger automobile and its load, shall be permitted to use the roads in any parks <br /> or open space areas of the City without first obtaining written permission from the City. <br /> (9) This section does not apply to maintenance vehicles, emergency vehicles, <br /> and wheelchairs (manual and electric). <br /> 8. Amend Subsection (2) of Rule 1.050 to provide: <br /> 1.050 PETS. <br /> (2) Except for seeing-eye dogs and other assist dogs, dogs are prohibited in <br /> park and open space areas posted as no dog areas, picnic shelters and public restrooms. <br /> 9. Amend Subsection (2) of Rule 1.060 to provide: <br /> 1.060 SIGNS AND CONCESSIONS. <br /> (2) The following activities are prohibited in a park or open space area unless <br /> specifically authorized in writing by the Director of the Parks and Open Space Division or <br /> designee: <br /> (a) Operating a fixed or mobile concession. <br /> (b) Soliciting, selling, offering for sale, peddling, hawking, or vending <br /> any goods or services. <br /> (c) Advertising any goods or services. <br /> <br /> Administrative Order - 8 <br /> <br />
