ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-OS-10 <br /> Public Works Department <br /> City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> PROPOSING THE AMENDMENT OF THE CITY'S PARK AND OPEN <br /> SPACE RULES, AND THE REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. <br /> 58-03-24-F. <br /> The Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene finds <br /> that: <br /> A. Pursuant to the authority re-delegated to the Executive Director of the Public <br /> Works Department by Administrative Order No. 21-03-12 of the City Manager, on December <br /> 11, 2 003 A dministrative O rder N o. 5 8-03-24-F was i ssued a dopting amended P ark a nd O pen <br /> Space Rules. <br /> B. City staff has recommended revisions to the rules, consisting of: <br /> (a) Amending portions of the Use Permits provisions in Rule 1.004; <br /> (b) Amending Rule 1.005(3) Notice of Restriction of Use, to clarify <br /> <br /> ~ subsection (a) and add a new subsection (e) thereto; <br /> (c) Amending the provisions of Rule 1.007 -Possession or Consumption of <br /> J Hard Liquor and Alcoholic Liquor to clarify its provisions; <br /> (d) Amending Rule 1.008 to prohibit use of tobacco products in all public <br /> restrooms; <br /> (e) Amending Rule 1.010(15) to clarify prohibited use of playground <br /> <br /> j equipment, picnic tables and picnic shelters; <br /> (f) Amending Rule 1.015 to restrict the possession of firearms except as <br /> provided therein; <br /> (g) Amending rule 1.030 to authorize the citing or towing of vehicles not <br /> parked in a parking facility and prohibiting parking under the canopy of a tree unless in a <br /> paved parking area; <br /> (h) Amending the prohibition relating to dogs in Rule 1.050(2); and <br /> (i) Amending Rule 1.060(2) to clarify the person authorized to permit the <br /> activities described therein. <br /> Administrative Order - 1 <br /> <br />
