i <br /> ~ <br /> i _ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO.58-07-07 <br /> of the ~I <br /> Airport Manager <br /> CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF SECTIO S <br /> 4 AND 5 OF THE AIRPORT FEE SCHEDULE; RATIFICATION F <br /> UNAMENDED FEES; AND REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORD R <br /> N0.58-06-13-F. <br /> The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene and r Sections <br /> <br /> 2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of a Eugene <br /> Airport. The City Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Man er under <br /> <br /> Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br /> B. Pursuant to that delegated authority, I intend to amend Sections 4 d 5 of the <br /> Airport Fee Schedule which was adopted by Administrative Order No. 58-06-13-F on December <br /> 20, 2006 (effective January 1, 2007), by increasing the signatory and non-signatory 1 ding fees <br /> in Section 4, and increasing the terminal building rental rates for exclusive and pref tial space <br /> and joint use space, the customer use space, and supplemental security fee in Secti 5; as set <br /> forth in the Notice of Intended Amendment of Airport Fee Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> A. <br /> C. After investigating the amounts charged for such services in the past, omparable <br /> rates charged by other airports, applicable user fee policies set by the council, the ousts or <br /> rates and other municipal benefits agreed to by comparable users of the airport in contract, <br /> lease, or permit, and the revenue needs of the airport, I have determined that Sections 4 and 5 of <br /> the Airport Fee Schedule should b~ amended as set forth herein, the unamended fees tified in a <br /> new Airport Fee Schedule, and Administrative Order No. 58-06-13-F repealed. <br /> On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, p rsons who <br /> have requested notice, persons who are currently paying such charges, posted at two cations at <br /> the Airport, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation wi the City, <br /> and be made available for inspection by interested persons at the office of the Airpo Manager, <br /> 28855 Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon, 97402, during normal business hours (8:00 m. to 5:00 <br /> p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> 2. All persons desiring to comment on the proposed fees shall sub 't written <br /> comments as set forth in the Notice.
