ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-07-10 <br /> of the <br /> Airport Director <br /> CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF SECTIONfS <br /> 9, 10, AND 15 OF THE AIRPORT FEE SCHEDULE; RATIFICATION OF <br /> UNAMENDED FEES; AND REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> N0.58-07-07-F. <br /> The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene u e Sections <br /> 2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use oth Eugene <br /> Airport. The City Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Drecitor under <br /> Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br /> B. Pursuant to that delegated authority, I intend to amend Sections 9, 10, i3nd 15 of <br /> the Airport Fee Schedule which was adopted by Administrative Order No. 58-07-07->~' on June <br /> 25, 2007 (effective July 1, 2007), by increasing the fuel flowage fee in Section 9, incr using the <br /> daily and weekly automobile long term parking fees and discontinuing the monthht p rking fee <br /> in Section 10, and adding an Airport tenant parking fee to the Miscellaneous fees iii S ction 15; <br /> as set forth in the Notice of Intended Amendment of Airport Fee Schedule attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A. <br /> C. After investigating the amounts charged for such services in the past; c mparable <br /> rates charged by other airports, applicable user fee policies set by the council, the ounts or <br /> rates and other municipal benefits agreed to by comparable users of the airport in a contract, <br /> lease, or permit, and the revenue needs of the airport, I have determined that Sections , 10 and <br /> 15 of the Airport Fee Schedule should be amended as set forth herein, the una$ne ded fees <br /> ratified in a new Airport Fee Schedule to become effective October 1, 2007, and Aim nistrative <br /> Order No. 58-07-07-F repealed. ~ <br /> On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, persons who <br /> have requested notice, persons who are currently paying such charges, posted at two locations at <br /> the Airport, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, <br /> and be made available for inspection by interested persons at the office of the Airport Director, <br /> 28855 Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon, 97402, during normal business hours (8:00 a. . to 5:00 <br /> p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> 2. All persons desiring to comment on the proposed fees shall subm~t written <br /> comments as set forth in the Notice. After expiration of the comment period, will by <br /> administrative order establish the fees as proposed, or as modified in response to the omments <br /> received, to become effective October 1, 2007. <br /> Dated this 1st day of September, 2007. <br /> <br /> Administrative Order <br /> <br />
