DESIGN STANDARDS FOR STREET LIGHTING SYSTEMS <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-7.085/SL <br /> R-7.085/SL A efinitions. <br /> As u ed in this Rule, the following words and phrases are defined as follows: <br /> AAHSTO. American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. <br /> A plp icant. The owner of the property for which development is proposed; or, the <br /> person, firm, partnership, corporation, or other entity authorized by the owner to <br /> act on behalf of the owner. <br /> Cam. City of Eugene, Oregon. <br /> IES. Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. <br /> NEC. National Electric Code <br /> NESC. National Electric Safety Code <br /> Path. A facility that is physically separated from motorized traffic by an <br /> open space or barrier and serves a mixture of users such as cyclists and <br /> pedestrians. <br /> PIDS. Public Improvement Design Standards Manual <br /> PEPI. Privately Engineered Public Improvement <br /> <br /> - R-7.085/SL B Pu_ rnose. <br /> This Rule is intended to provide requirements for implementing the street lighting design <br /> standards s t out in the Design Standards and Guidelines for Eugene Streets, Sidewalks, <br /> Bikeways a d Access Ways adopted by City Council Resolution No. 4608. Permits for street <br /> lights that a not installed by the City of Eugene, shall follow the public improvement permit <br /> process. <br /> R-7.085/S C Design Standards Parameters and Materials. <br /> 1.
