Much of the work is related to Eugene's Pavement <br /> Preservati n Program, which currently is funded primarily through the IOCaI gas tax. <br /> Hilyard St et (13th to 18th avenues) -paving substantially completed; next steps are striping <br /> and cleanu ;the road remains closed through July 31. <br /> Hilyard St et (18th to 24"d avenues) closed to through traffic starting July 31, 20th and 21St <br /> avenues wi I be closed to through traffic at Hilyard Street. The intersection of Hilyard Street and <br /> 24th Avenu will be closed July 31 through the morning of Saturday, August 5. <br /> Patterson treet (East Broadway to 13"' Avenue) -preliminary paving work will begin next <br /> week with t e final paving overlay scheduled to be completed bymid-August <br /> <br /> I'~ Oakway R ad (Fairway Loop to Coburg Road) -overlay substantially completed <br /> Polk Stree (12th to 18th avenues) -overlay substantially completed <br /> Washingt n Street (6th to 8th avenues) -reconstruction work completed at 8th and Washington; <br /> rotomilling oday; final paving on Saturday, July 29 <br /> Seneca St eet (7th to 11th avenues) -overlay paving Thursday <br /> Garfield/A hur (11th to 18th avenues) -paving Saturday between 11th and 13th; milling and <br /> overlay pa ing work next week on the section between 13th and 18`h <br /> Franklin ( alnut to 11th) -overlay paving work will begin in mid-August and wrap up well before <br /> fall term st its at the UO <br /> Slurry seas (various residential neighborhoods) -completed except for some striping work <br /> on Terry St eet <br /> Courthous transportation improvements -paving work finished on 8th Avenue (Ferry to Mill) <br /> and extens ns of Ferry Street and Sixth Avenue; next step will be constructing the sidewalks; <br /> work sched led to be done by mid-August, well before the opening of the new courthouse <br /> 43rd Aven a/Donald Street -storm drainage improvements slow but steady; streets remain <br /> closed whit excavation and pipe installation continues; final paving should be completed by early <br /> September <br /> Eugene Public Works • www.eugene-or.gov/pw <br /> 858 Pearl S eet, Eugene, Oregon 97501 • 541-682-5523 • fax 541-682-6826 • e-mail pwadmin@ci.eugene.or.us <br /> <br />
