City of Eugene Landscape Architect, Philip <br /> Richard on, will also be on hand to discuss changes that have taken place at the park. <br /> Improve ents to the park were preceded by a series of workshops with local neighbors to <br /> gather t eir ideas for the park's development plan. In the end, a new playground and play <br /> area we e added as well as paths, trees, and a picnic area. Neighbors also wanted to leave <br /> many o the parks original features intact including a large natural area and fruit trees. <br /> Funding for the project came from the 1998 Parks and Open Space Bond measure and <br /> amount d to $120,000. Marche Case Park is located at the corner of Chevy Chase Street <br /> and Re ent Avenue. <br /> <br />
