The hearing is scheduled to begin <br /> at 7:30 p.m in the Council Chamber, 777 Pearl St. <br /> The proposed monthly fee would be charged to all homes and businesses in the city of <br /> Eugene to ay for operating, maintaining and preserving the city's transportation system. The <br /> TSMF prop sal is designed to augment the local motor vehicle fuel tax and provide locally <br /> controlled, ustainable revenue to maintain the existing level of transportation services and <br /> reduce the acklog of needed street repairs. . <br /> The current estimate is that asingle-family home would pay a TSMF charge of <br /> approximat ly $5.22 per month. Other residential units such as apartments would be charged a <br /> slightly sm Iler amount per dwelling unit. Commercial and industrial properties would be charged <br /> based prim rily on the number of trips they generate. <br /> A d tailed summary of sample charges and other information about the TSMF can be <br /> viewed by licking on the "street funding" link at www.eugene-or.gov/pw or by calling Eugene <br /> Public Wor s at 682-4900.
