As leaves fall from branches to the ground, leaf collection crews in <br /> Lane C unty, Eugene and Springfield are gearing up to remove them from local <br /> neighb hoods. <br /> Each ju 'sdiction has its strategy for picking up leaves mapped out and is ready to collect. <br /> EDGE E <br /> The an ual Leaf Collection and Delivery Program, which has been available to Eugene <br /> citizens since the late 1960s, kicks off this Monday, Oct. 30 in west Eugene. <br /> City of ugene Public Works crews will collect leaves in every Eugene neighborhood <br /> twice b tween October and January, and will deliver leaves to residents upon request, as <br /> supplie and schedules allow. <br /> In Eug ne, leaves will be collected according to the following schedule: <br /> first Round Second Round <br /> Oct. 30 through Nov. 3 -west Eugene Dec. 11 through Dec. 15 -west Eugene <br /> Nov. 6 hrough Nov. 10 -central Eugene Dec. 18 through Dec. 29 -central Eugene <br /> Nov. 1 through Nov. 17 -north Eugene Jan. 2 through Jan. 12 -north Eugene <br /> Nov. 2 through Dec. l -southeast Eugene Jan. 15 through Jan. 19 -southeast Eugene <br /> Dec. 4 hrough Dec. 8 -southwest Eugene Jan. 22 through Jan. 26 -southwest Eugene <br /> <br />
