I <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> August 30, 2007 <br /> I, CONTACT: Cindy Clarke, Transportation Options Coordinator, 682-5285, <br /> cindy.j.clarke@ci.eugene.or.us <br /> Lee Shoemaker, Bicycle & Pedestrian Coordinator, 682-5471, <br /> lee.shoemaker@ci.eugene.or.us <br /> From Public Information Section, 682-5523 or 954-2938 <br /> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> Lighten Up At the 15t Annual Bike Lights Parade <br /> Area cyclists are invited to "lighten up" at the first annual Bike Lights Parade at the <br /> Eugene Celebration beginning at dusk on Saturday, September 8, at the LTD Plaza, 10tH <br /> Avenue and Olive Street in downtown Eugene. <br /> The night light festivities will begin with a competition for the best illuminated and best <br /> decorated bikes at 8 p.m. Past slug queens Slugretha Latifah Uleafa Gastropodia, Inspira, <br /> Scarlett, and Frank from prior Eugene Celebrations will be passing their royal judgment on the <br /> competition for Best Illumination and Best Decorated Bike.
