Crews also are working in the south hills area, particularly on Willamette Street south of <br /> 32 d Avenue. <br /> Pulblic Works opene its emergency command center at the public works yard on Roosevelt Boulevard shortly before 6 <br /> a.r~. today to coordi ate storm response operations. <br /> Residents are enco raged to avoid driving this morning unless it's absolutely necessary. Those who do drive are urged to <br /> us extreme cautio ,particularly when approaching intersections. While the City has not declared an ice-snow <br /> err~ergency at this ti e, residents are asked to not park or leave their vehicles on busy streets so these streets can be <br /> ;aided and remain vailable for use by emergency vehicles. <br /> <br /> AI o, a reminder tha residential streets are not plowed or sanded by City crews.
