The flight will depart <br /> Eugene at 6:00 a.m., with the return flight arriving back at 11:30 p.m. <br /> A second flight each way will continue to depart Eugene in the afternoon and return <br /> from Los Angeles in the morning, making a stop in Redmond, each way. Both flights <br /> will be operated with 74- and 76-seat Bombardier Q400 high-speed turboprops. <br /> <br /> j "This new nonstop service is part of our initiative to use the new Q400 aircraft we're <br /> <br /> j receiving to make traveling more convenient for our customers," said Patrick <br /> Zachwieja, Horizon vice president of marketing and planning. "Vile recognize the <br /> importance of the vital link between Eugene and Los Angeles for both business and <br /> vacation travel. The new nonstop will make it even easier for business travelers to fly <br /> to L.A, put in a full day of work in Southern California, and be home the same day." <br /> <br /> j~ Horizon Air has served Eugene since 1982 and currently offers 10 daily flights Sunday <br /> <br /> ' through Friday and 9 flights on Saturday, including service to Los Angeles, Portland, <br /> ~I <br /> Redmond, Medford and Seattle. <br /> "The return of the direct nonstop service to Los Angeles is huge, particularly for the <br /> <br /> j business traveler where schedule is paramount," said Bob Noble, Eugene Airport <br /> <br /> ~ manager.
