1 <br /> June 18, 2007 <br /> I, CONTACT: Matt Rodrigues, Pavement Preservation Program Manager, 541-682-6036 <br /> From Public Information Section, 682-5523 or 954-2938 <br /> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> Paving Repairs Will Require Closing Willagillespie Road for Two Nights <br /> I <br /> Paving repair is shifting into high gear in Eugene, with work on three streets well under <br /> I,I way in southwest Eugene and construction detours and closures scheduled to begin later this <br /> i <br /> week in north Eugene. <br /> Construction will start Wednesday on Willagillespie Road, and Willagillespie Road will be <br /> closed from Clinton Drive to Country Club Road from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday, June 22, and <br /> Monday, June 25, so the contractor can repave the section between the Delta Highway offramp <br /> <br /> ~Irrr''~ and Valley River Drive. <br /> Meanwhile, work on Norkenzie and Gilham roads will start next week. Norkenzie <br /> tentatively is scheduled to be closed to through traffic at Beltline for three days beginning Monday, <br /> June 25. <br /> i <br /> In southwest Eugene, most of the paving has been completed on Oakpatch Road between <br /> II 11t" and 18t" avenues, with striping and clean-up work scheduled this week.
