When the street <br /> reopens on ridgy, it will be one lane only, with a stop at the newly opened Hilyard Street <br /> extension. <br /> The ilyard extension was opened on April 22, offering a more direct route for westbound <br /> through tra is on Highway 99 and northbound traffic on Hilyard Street. The Mill Street section north <br /> ~II of the viadu t is intended primarily as an alternate route for local businesses west of Hilyard and <br /> vehicles tha miss the turn onto the Hilyard Street extension. <br /> Else here in the area of the new Wayne Morse Federal Courthouse, roadwork continues <br /> on Mill Stre t and Broadway as crews from Wildish Construction Co., under contract to the Eugene <br /> Public Work Department, dig up and repair areas of the roadbed.
