The specific work being done <br /> Thursday a d Friday nights is permanent striping, weather permitting. <br /> Sixth and Seventh avenues will remain opened during the Chambers Street closures, <br /> although m orists on those streets are advised to watch for lane closures and construction <br /> equipment i vicinity of the Chambers Street intersections. Motorists on Chambers Street will be <br /> detoured to they routes. <br /> The aving preservation project on Chambers Street is part of a $5.5 million program to <br /> repair more han 46 lane miles of street in Eugene in 2008.
