The Oregon Departrrient of Agriculture's (ODA) missioz-z includes protecting Oregon's agricultural, <br /> horticultural, forestry, and other natural resources lxozxz invasive pests. As part of this mission, ODA <br /> conducts annual statewide surveys for pests such. as the gypsy moth, Japanese beetle, Asiazz lvz~ghorned <br /> . beetle, and otl7,ex potentially damaging invasive pests. All cities arad towns statewide maybe surveyed. <br /> each year ox only certain high-risk areas, coxrzmodities, recreation. areas, etc. The surveys include <br /> pkacing insect traps in or near pkant hosts, nrzaking visual observations, and/or cokkecting saxaples. <br /> Survey sites will be on eowoty-owned or controlled property, such as rights-off way along roads, or city <br /> parks and facilities. We axe asking your perxnissiozz to conduct such surveys as needed in Eugene.
