Currently vc/e aze in the ftnal stages of purchasing a <br /> new warehouse and processing facility in Crlenwood. The owner has agreod to our price <br /> and we expect to close by the end of November. Our plan is to begin moving from our <br /> current facility at 462 East Eighth Avenue in February of next year and totally out of our <br /> current buildin b the end of Tune. If it was dee a im ortant e c ve <br /> m d w ould le 1 the <br /> g Y <br /> p <br /> building shortly after we move out. <br /> We clo plan to develop our property at 462 East Eighth Avenue in a manner consistent <br /> with the City's development plans for the are2~ We realize the site is special due to its <br /> location to the forthcoming Federal Courthouse Building and we will ensure our property <br /> is developed in an appropriate manner: Now that we have secured new space for our <br /> warehouse and processing neEds we will begin in eaznest to explore alternatives to <br /> include looking for potential development partners. <br /> In addition to the property we own at 462 East Avenue we have a lease •uvith a right of <br /> ftrst refusal clause that runs through 2Q09 on adjoining property at 840 Ferry Street. We <br /> plan to explore the possibility of purchasing that property and we would also be <br /> interested in exploring the purchase of the Hoot's Restaurant property currently owned by <br /> the Cicy of Eugene. It is our thought the footprint of those three properties waald allow <br /> for a significant development that could include office and retail space. <br /> 1,VIy board of directors will begin meeting in October so I will have more information to <br /> share after they znoet.
