These. eon~ents are pu~uant to section 9.8185(2) of the Eugene City code:
(2) The effects of the moving upon the use and developnncnt o:F
the historic property.
The Growers Market Inc. currently losses the space shown in figure 2 from Diamond Parking for
the use of its members and tenants. The Growers Market has three concerns in regard to the
plaeeroent of the bunkhouse in the temporary location shown:
1. The impact of. the placement of the structure on the existing apple tree
located at the south west cornet of the property.
2. The impact of the placeme~ of the structure on the use of buildiuag connpost
containers located along the southern border of the property east of the apple
~trce, and
3. The Loss of parking spaces for the members and te~aants of. Grower. s Market
Inc. due to their occupation by the bunkhouse structure.
The Growers MarYcet proposes that if the bunkhouse structure is to be placed as shown in figure
two of the Pub1 is Notice sent of August ZZ, that the enact placement of the structure
accommodaxe both the existing canopy of the apple tree at the southwest corner of the property
and access to the use of compost containers located along the southwest border of the property.
Further, the Growers Market proposes that the market be compensated for the loss of parking
spaces through the provision of parkiuag spaces equal to those lost to occupation b_v the bunkhouse
in this same parking, lot under the terms of the existing lease.
,i, ~ .
' ; , ~ Sip _ ~ ,a,
" ~ 5 2003
. - ~ -
