ICLEI has eleven offices worldwide. Every year, <br />actions taken by US CCP Total governments cut 20 million tons of global warming pollution <br />and save $400 million from reduced. energy and fuel costs for local communities. ' <br />Cities for Climate Protection®Campaign <br />Cities for Climate Protection® Campaign (CCP) is an ICLEI program that engages.cities, towns, <br />and counties in reducing the pollution that causes global warming. <br />Participating local governments work through the CCP milestones and relieve climate disruption. <br />- Conduct a local emissions inventory of greenhouse gas emissions <br />- Adopt emissions reduction target. <br />- .Identify. local actions that achieve the target <br />- Implement action plan policies and actions <br />- Quantify and report benefits created <br />The Campaign has grown since the :1993 launch.
