As you know, Gabe Flock has been most directly <br />involved in reviewing the proposal, to determine whether or not the proposed trail will require Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) approval. <br />I have consulted with Mr. Flock, and consistent with.our review of the additional details and applicable <br />requirements of the City's updated land use code, my determination is that a PUD application will not be <br />required for the proposed trail. We find that the proposal, in and of itself, does not constitute the type and <br />magnitude of development that ~is normally reviewed through the PUD process {such as a residential <br />subdivision). PUD applications are intended to address significant development projects, involving <br />substantial infrastructure and building construction. Clearly, the proposed trail does not qualify as such a <br />project. <br />If you have further questions or concerns about this determination, please feel free to contact me or Mr. <br />Flock.
