The signals were activated this
morning asp of the Ferry Street Bridge corridor preservation and enhancement project.
Westb and traffic on Centennial headed south (downtown) on Coburg Road is now able to turn
left onto Cobur Road rather than looping around on Club Road. The new signals provide protected left
turns for two le -turn-only lanes from Centennial Boulevard to Coburg Road.
Westbo nd traffic on Centennial heading north on Coburg Road is now able to make the turn
from aright- -only lane. The signal includes aprotectedright-turn cycle in place of the stop-and-
merge that traf c previously had to go through when turning from Centennial onto northbound Coburg
Road.
Traffic ing from Country Club Road south (downtown) on Coburg Road now has two signal-
controlledright turn-only lanes to safely make the turn. Previously, a single lane of traffic on Country
Club was requir d to merge with traffic on southbound Coburg Road. Traffic is not allowed to turn left
Country Club R ad to northbound Coburg Road.
