That decision was appealed by <br /> both the applic t and the Eugene Tree Foundation. <br /> Rest-H ven's application requested the felling of an estimated 3,166 trees to further <br /> ~ develop the ce etery. The City Manager's decision allowed the felling of approximately a third <br /> i <br /> of those trees. One appeal argues that the number of trees to be felled should be further <br /> restricted. Th other appeal argues that the City should permit more trees to be felled. <br /> Hearin s Official Ginny Gustafson will determine the appeals on the basis of the criteria <br /> I <br /> in Eugene Cod on which tree-felling permit decisions must be based, the appellants' written <br /> i <br /> ~ statements, an on any additional evidence deemed appropriate.
