Weather permitting, the Scout <br /> volunteers will paint stripes in the parking area, repair the stone and concrete firepits and <br /> <br /> ~ir bi~rbecues, and remove English ivy from the trees at the back of the park. The Scouts also plan <br /> to come back at a later date and work on the concrete bridge in the park. <br /> On Sunday, October 4, an Eagle Scout project will improve the off-leash dog run at Alton <br /> B~lcer Park. Project volunteers will put in a gravel walkway, install a gravel pad for a shelter, <br /> ar~d cut back blackberries. Weather permitting, they will paint picnic tables and benches.
