The project will be completed before the <br /> Lane County Fa r in Augusta <br /> In the antime, both lanes on West 13th will be open over the holiday weekend, and several <br /> nevv Fairground access points on West 13th will be available during the event. Signs and traffic control <br /> staff on West 13 h will direct motorists to the new access areas. <br /> The bes ways to reach the main entrance gates on 13th are via Garfield, Chambers, Polk, and <br /> Jefferson streets The neighborhood streets on the north side of 13th between Polk and Jefferson are <br /> blocked by cons uction and will not be open for Fairgrounds traffic. The Fairgrounds entrance on 15th <br /> off Jefferson an the gravel lot on the south side of the Fairgrounds will be closed to vehicles for safety <br /> reasons because f the fireworks display. <br /> Alternat' a parking for the Freedom Festival can be found at O'Hara School on Friendly Street <br /> just off 18th Ave ue and, on Friday and Saturday, July 4 and 5, in the Eugene Faith Center parking lot at <br /> 3 <br /> the corner of Pol and 13th. <br /> ~I <br /> For mor information about the 1997 Freedom Festival, call the Lane County Fairgrounds at <br /> 82-4292.
