The ordinance would require haul rs to offer <br /> yard debris collection on a specific Saturday in May and October every year. Cost o the service <br /> is proposed to range from five to ten dollars per pick-up, depending on the quantity o materials <br /> i <br /> collected. Residents would need to provide a separate container for the materials, w 'ch would <br /> be taken to an approved composting facility. <br /> The public hearing will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Ch er, 777 ~ <br /> Pearl Street, in downtown Eugene. Anyone may testify. <br /> The Council is slated to make a final decision on the proposal at the conclusi of the <br /> hearing on the 14th. If approved, the program would start by October 1997.
