The other trees will be monitored with a <br /> long-term go 1 of establishing a healthy forest well-suited for the particular conditions in that <br /> area. A num er of plants and trees have already been planted in this area as part of the natural <br /> area restorati n. The evaluation of the remaining 113 trees from the consultant's report, <br /> including app oximately 50 trees deemed potentially hazardous by the consultant, will take place <br /> over the next ear as staff work load allows. <br /> Prior t any removals taking place, the trees proposed to be removed will be posted for a <br /> minimum of o weeks, and an information session in the park will be scheduled so members of <br /> the public can ask questions and provide comments directly to the Urban Forestry staff.
