A work party to clean up litter, remove invasive <br /> vegetation and erect signs identifying the area will follow the bird walk from 10 to noon. The <br /> activities are sponsored by Friends of Delta Ponds, a volunteer group that encourages <br /> <br /> f <br /> stewardship of this unique wetland area near Delta Highway. <br /> ~I At Amazon Creek, also beginning at 9 a.m., the volunteer groups of Bailey Hill and <br /> McKinle Nei hbors, Southeast Neighbors and the Camas Trail Adoption Group will <br /> Y g <br /> i <br /> accomplish similar goals at various locations along the creek. <br /> Work party participants should wear layered clothing, sturdy shoes or boots and gloves. <br /> Bring rain gear, Toppers, clippers and shovels if available and appropriate.
