During <br /> paving, tra is will be diverted into temporary lanes, and some lanes will be closed. <br /> <br /> i <br /> On ednesday at 7 p.m., weather permitting, the northbound travel lanes will be closed <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> i <br /> for sealing d paving. Northbound traffic will be diverted to the shoulder lane on the east side <br /> <br /> I <br /> of the high ay. Southbound traffic will continue to use the two lanes on the west side of the <br /> highway. aving on the east side of the highway is expected to continue Thursday and Friday <br /> nights, and the newly paved northbound lanes are scheduled to be opened by early Saturday <br /> morning. fter the east side of the highway has been paved, the west side of the highway will be <br /> paved as ather permits. When the initial paving is completed on both sides of the highway, a <br /> final "wea ng course" of pavement will be applied to the full width of the roadway. <br /> <br /> ~ Sig swill be posted warning motorists of lane closures and detours. Motorists should use <br /> <br /> i <br /> <br /> I <br /> caution in a construction area, particularly when lane detours are in effect and flaggers and <br /> constructio workers are present. Motorists are encouraged to use Beltline Road or the Northwest <br /> Expresswa to avoid the work on Highway 99. <br /> <br /> I <br /> Th paving is the final phase of astate-funded project to widen and improve Highway 99 <br /> between R osevelt Boulevard and Barger Drive. Work on the project began last summer and is <br /> scheduled o be completed this summer. <br /> <br />
