Staff and displays will be available through the <br /> session. Br of presentations will be made at 5:30 and 7 p.m. <br /> The erry Street Corridor preservation/enhancement project is designed to take advantage <br /> of more tha $23 million in dedicated federal funding to address current operational and safety <br /> needs in the area between the south end of the Ferry Street Bridge and the Oakway-Coburg Road <br /> intersection. The project does not include expanding the existing bridge or providing more lanes <br /> for cars and buses across the river. <br /> As oposed, the preservation enhancement project includes the following key features: <br /> • Co tract a new street south of I-105 to reroute traffic now using Fairway Loop. <br /> • Si nalize the southbound access to I-105 from Coburg Road and the intersection of <br /> Coburg Roa and Centennial Boulevard. <br /> I <br /> • Wi en sidewalks and make seismic and safety improvements to the Ferry Street Bridge. <br /> • Co struct a new bicycle bridge just east of the Ferry Street Bridge. <br /> • Ex and the viaduct at the south end of the bridge to provide an additional northbound <br /> i <br /> lane. <br /> <br />
