I' TURNS ON WEST 18TH AT POLK <br /> Le turns from West 18th Avenue onto Polk Street will not be allowed for <br /> approxima ely one week while a Eugene Public Works crew makes pavement repairs near the <br /> intersectio . <br /> Th crew is scheduled to begin work at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, and plans to have <br /> the work one by Friday, March 10, weather permitting. The work involves removing and <br /> replacing everal deteriorated sections of pavement in the westbound lanes of West 18th <br /> Avenue o both sides of Polk Street. Westbound traffic on West 18th temporarily will be <br /> routed to t e center lane normally used for left turns. Left turns will not be allowed during <br /> constructi n to prevent traffic backups behind vehicles waiting to turn across the heavily <br /> i <br /> traveled st eet. <br /> Si ns will be posted to alert motorists to the construction-related traffic changes. <br /> j <br /> <br />
