The closure is scheduled to be in effect from <br /> approximately 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will allow the contractor to pour the sidewalk on the <br /> south side of the overpass. <br /> <br /> ' During the lane closure, westbound traffic (from Springfield to Eugene) will be <br /> detoured on Gateway Street to Beltline Road. Eastbound traffic (from Eugene to <br /> Springfield) will be allowed to cross the overpass, but delays are likely. Motorists, <br /> pedestrians, and bicycle riders are advised to use alternate routes if possible. <br /> The overpass widening project is scheduled to be completed later this month, weather <br /> permitting. When completed, the widened overpass will include a traffic lane in each <br /> direction plus bike lanes and full-width sidewalks on both sides of the bridge. <br /> ~I! <br /> <br />
