The <br /> open house will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be held at the Eugene <br /> Conferen e Center in the Hellman Room. Formal presentations are at 3:30 and <br /> 5:30 p.m~ <br /> The~ICity is seeking comments and direction from the community on how to <br /> address tormwater pollution from commercial, industrial, and residential <br /> areas. t the workshop they will discuss and ask questions about how the <br /> community wants to: <br /> o u~'~e and dispose of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides <br /> o rlllduce and dispose of trash and yard wastes <br /> o p event dumping into storm sewers and drainage channels <br /> o c ntrol littering <br /> o u e and dispose of automotive oil and grease <br /> o sop leaks from gas, fuel oil, and chemical storage tanks <br /> o c ntrol erosion at construction sites <br /> Rec nt changes to federal and state laws are requiring the City to <br /> develop program to regulate and improve stormwater runoff in Eugene. <br /> For more information about the workshop call 687-5262. <br /> i <br /> II <br /> <br />
