Formal presentations are at 11 a.m. <br /> and 1 p.~n. <br /> TheCity is seeking comments and direction from the community on how to <br /> address stormwater pollution from commercial, industrial, and residential <br /> areas. t the workshop they will discuss and ask questions about how the <br /> communit wants to: <br /> o u~e and dispose of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides <br /> o r~duce and dispose of trash and yard wastes <br /> o prevent dumping into storm sewers and drainage channels <br /> o c ntrol littering <br /> o u e and dispose of automotive oil and grease <br /> o sop leaks from gas, fuel oil, and chemical storage tanks <br /> o control erosion at construction sites <br /> Rec nt changes to federal and state laws are requiring the City to <br /> <br /> develop program to regulate and improve stormwater runoff in Eugene. <br /> For more information about the workshop call 687-5262. <br /> ~I <br /> I <br /> <br />
