Average daily traffic counts
range from x,xxx (in the section between Garfield and Seneca) to 24,500 (Seneca to Beltline) to
xx,xxx (Beltline to Terry Street). While much of West 11th is thought of as a city street, it is
actual a stag roadway (Highway 126). This means that repairs and improvements to West 11th
west of Gari~eld Street must be coordinated with and approved by the Oregon Department of
Transportati n (ODOT). In cooperation with ODOT, the City has made a number of
improvements to West 11th Avenue and is continuing to make West 1 lth a safer route for
motorists, b y lists, and pedestrians.
